Our client, a well–established hospitality construction company known for delivering landmark venues, has recently launched a luxury interior design studio in London. Specialising in high–end hospitality interiors, the studio is growing rapidly and looking to expand its dynamic team. They‘re a vibrant collective of passionate creatives who value collaboration, innovation, and exceptional design.
They are seeking a talented Part 2 Architectural Assistant or a recently Qualified Architect with a strong background in hospitality design. The role involves working across RIBA Stages 3–5, coordinating detailed interior projects, and contributing both technically and creatively. Depending on your experience, you may be given the opportunity to lead drawing packages, mentor junior designers, and take on more responsibility over time.
You‘ll be involved in producing design development drawings, bespoke joinery details, and technical packages, particularly for Design and Build projects. Your role will span from early concept design through to planning, construction documentation, and on–site coordination. You‘ll collaborate with clients, consultants, suppliers, and contractors, contributing to creative direction and technical resolution throughout each project.
The ideal candidate will have strong hospitality design experience, excellent AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Photoshop skills, and a good eye for detail. You should have solid knowledge of UK building regulations and planning frameworks, along with experience in spatial coordination and construction detailing. Strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work collaboratively are essential. A degree in architecture is required, along with fluency in English and the ability to travel to project sites when needed.
