On behalf of our client, a thriving and expanding interior architecture and design consultancy based in London, we are seeking out a dynamic Design Director to join their team on a permanent basis. Moving away from traditional, trend–driven aesthetic approaches, this studio moves towards more of a fully embodied, human–centered and multi–sensory experience in their design method.

As a Design Director, you will play a key role in shaping and guiding the creative vision in collaboration with the Creative Director. You‘ll be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of design quality and ensuring consistency across all outputs. Working alongside other senior leaders, including the CEO, Business Directors, and Account Managers, you will align design objectives with broader business goals and client needs.

In this role, you will lead and mentor a talented team of designers, providing valuable feedback, direction, and ongoing support. Your responsibilities will also include overseeing the hiring, training, and performance evaluation of designers, as well as managing design resources and budgets.

We‘re seeking a passionate and experienced Design Director with a strong portfolio of large and medium scale projects and proven leadership skills. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of design principles, processes, tools, and the latest industry trends. Exceptional communication and leadership abilities are essential to succeed in this role.
